I spent today making a start on some tasks for my college work towards my qualification. My first task was to research any “trends” and “developments” in the art world.

 

I looked at this from a community arts perspective, researching other community art classes in the surrounding area, and what they run that CultureNL may not. I discovered a few different classes in the surrounding area that CultureNL don’t provide such as Jewelry making.

 

I put all of my research into my Community Arts Management sketchbook that I have. I decided to log my process through a sketchbook as this is what I am used to doing after studying art for 3 years. It is the best way for me to learn information as a visual learner.
