Who Am I?

My name is Nicole Cooper, and I am the Modern Apprentice for CultureNL's Community Arts Team.
What Do I Do?
​
I do general admin work for the Community Arts Team as well as organise the pay-in from CultureNL classes. At least 4 times a week I am out to different venues experiencing and learning something new each time. I am working towards a Diploma in Community Arts Management with City of Glasgow College.
How Did I Become an Apprentice?
​
With a visual arts background, I decided to search for a position where I am able to still be creative but learn new skills that can be transferable into a career. I looked for creative jobs near me, and found this amazing opportunity where I am able to learn, gain a qualification and get paid all at the same time!
Where Am I?
​
I am based at Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life, Heritage Way, Coatbridge. However, I travel to a lot of different CultureNL venues to take part, help out and view the classes that we run!
